Pyrojunkies Acquires Wells Fireworks

Pyrojunkies, the Dartford based pyrotechnics company, has acquired Wells Fireworks, the UK based manufacturer. The transfer of ownership took place on 7th October. The full press release can be found if you click 'read more'.

We are pleased to announce that as of 7th October 2005, Pyrojunkies Ltd is now the proud owner of Wells Fireworks Ltd.
Pyrojunkies Ltd have been trading since March 2003 and is owned by Shane Caulfield and Richard Huffam. Pyrojunkies are an indoor Pyrotechnics supply and hire company, mainly supplying the concert touring industry and have been using Wells products since the start on all our tours and shows. We were so impressed by the quality of the products and the potential the company has, that we decided to combine our talents finally managing to strike a deal with Stuart and buy the company.
There will be no major changes at this time as our main aim is to keep and maintain the quality of the products that Stuart has produced over the years.
There will be some minor changes at the factory. We have taken on a new factory manager, Sharon Stroud. Some of you may know her from her previous position as factory manager at Skyhigh Pyrotechnics and Skyhigh Stage FX. Sharon has also worked with Martin Blake at Blake's Fireworks.
Sharon will be responsible for the day to day running of the factory and will be your first point of call if you need to contact us. Sharon will be taking most of the work load from Stuart who will still be very much involved with the manufacturing and quality control, but will now have free time available to do what he does best, developing new products for the entertainment, Film, TV and Military industries. Pyrojunkies will then be responsible for the marketing and sales from our office in Dartford. As well as using it on all our tours and shows world wide.
